K-RALA-10™ solution contains R-lipoic acid (in the form of Potassium-R-Lipoate), potassium bicarbonate, purified water and is preserved with USP vegetable glycerin.
Increased Stability
No need for refrigeration, polymer-free and stable for at least 3 years at room temperature. Solid, unstabilized R-Lipoic Acid is prone to polymerize upon exposure to heat, light and moisture within 6 months.
Increased Solubility
Easily dissolved in water, whereas unstabilized lipoic acid is poorly soluble.
Reduced Solvent Residues
Due to the low melting point of the lipoic acid crystalline structure, there is a tendency for 'raw' R-lipoic acid to hold on to high amounts of cyclohexane, ethyl acetate or toluene. The additional processing necessary to make all K-RALA™ products removes the residual solvents.
Suggested Use
One dropper full (~20 drops) delivers the equivalent of 100 mg R-Lipoic Acid and 18-20 mg potassium. Recommended dose as a nutritional supplement is 1-4 full droppers per day together with Carnitine-PLUS, liquid or capsules.
Add to water, and drink immediately. Avoid contact with eyes, and if using topically for skin, dilute with 8-10 x water.
