R-Lipoic Acid and Environmental Disease
R-lipoic Acid may help the 9-11 responders and those suffering from environmental disease & chemical exposure
Several years ago I saw a video showing how the NY firefighters, police & civilians that responded to the 9-11 terrorist bombings of the WTC as well as resident of Manhattan were suffering from a variety of illnesses they attributed to toxic chemical exposure. I immediately wrote several colleagues and suggested R-lipoic acid might help these people. Unfortunately, although they thought it was a good idea, to date none of them has submitted a proposal to the government for a funded study.
GeroNova Research offered to supply the sodium R-lipoate (Na RALA) or infusible R-lipoic acid for the study at no charge but we need MD’s with experience in environmental toxicology to design and supervise the study. Our offer to help is still good.
